Key Responsibilities:
As a Telemetry RN, you will collaborate with healthcare teams to create, implement, and assess patient care plans. You will operate advanced machinery to monitor patients' vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and blood oxygen levels. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Administering and documenting prescribed medications while promptly reporting any adverse reactions.
- Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
- Identifying irregular telemetry readings and notifying the appropriate medical team member accordingly.
- Monitoring specialized equipment and interpreting electronic displays for patient assessments.
