In this vital role, you will support all levels of the Process Control Network (PCN) Level 1-3, with a focus on controls systems networking and cybersecurity on DCS/PLC proprietary systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices and acting responsibly at all times.
  • Proactively manage the controls production environment to prevent incidents and develop backup processes.
  • Conduct audits and offer recommendations to improve the PCN for optimal performance.
  • Specify, configure, and manage all PCN equipment including servers, switches, domain controllers, routers, firewalls, NAS, VPN, thin clients, KVM, and VM.
  • Collaborate with the Controls Systems team to ensure full operational readiness across company sites.
  • Provide OT engineering support to plant maintenance as needed and help plan scheduled system outages.
  • Design a multi-year strategy to keep control systems and PCN up to date with current OEM hardware and software.
  • Upgrade site PCNs to comply with OEM and industry standards.
  • Assist in developing capital project lists and budget costs for facilities.
  • Maintain PCN diagrams following ISA/Purdue Models.
  • Install and oversee the Company OT Claroty System for Secure Remote Access (SRA) and Xdome (Asset management and cybersecurity).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Information Technology required. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required.
  • Rockwell Control Network Trained required.
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Entry-level Technician (PCCET) required.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity and Industrial Control System Standards-ISA, NIST.
  • Proficient in Linux, Microsoft Server/Windows, Powershell, VM software (Hyper-V/VMware), Active Directory, Thin Client Management, SQL.
  • Experience with Industrial Communication Protocols Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA/DA, FTP, SFTP.
  • Knowledge of OEM software including Factory Talk, DeltaV, Wonderware, Canary, and ABB.
  • Experience in network design engineering and maintenance.
  • Willingness to travel 10%-25% as needed.
