We areseeking a qualified Locums Otolaryngology Physician to provide comprehensivecare in Richmond, VA. This position involves 24-hour call shifts from 7 AM to 7AM and is hospital-based.
Responsibilitiesinclude providing 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM and managing anaverage of 6 cases per day. You will be required to perform surgical proceduressuch as thyroidectomy and extended parotidectomy. Additionally, you willconduct general surgical otolaryngology procedures including tonsillectomy,adenoidectomy, and PE tube placement.
Your rolewill also involve general non-surgical otolaryngology tasks such as hearingevaluations and management of disorders involving the ears, nose, throat, andskeletal facial structures. Endoscopic procedures required include septal,sinus, flexible bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, and laryngoscopy. Facialsurgery procedures will include rhinoplasty, facial fracture repair, and skingrafts/flaps.
Requirements:
Board Certified in Otolaryngology.
Active Virginia medical license.
ACLS and BLS certifications.
Proficiency in EPIC documentation system/EMR.
