Position Overview:
Are you an experienced IT Project Manager seeking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a talented Lead IT Project Manager to spearhead challenging IT projects focusing on network infrastructure and data center technologies. Your extensive expertise in microwave networks and data protection will be crucial as you lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects that align with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage comprehensive IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered within time, scope, and budget constraints.
- Direct projects pertaining to network infrastructure (like microwave and common facilities) and data center operations (including compute and storage solutions).
- Create and maintain exhaustive project plans covering schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Implement effective deployment strategies utilizing iterative methodologies to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, including technical experts, vendors, and stakeholders, to secure successful project outcomes.
- Act as the main contact for all project-related communications, updates, and reporting.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Champion the adoption of best practices in project management, adapting approaches to meet the needs of the project.
- Ensure compliance with both organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex IT projects successfully.
- Proven expertise in network infrastructure and data center technologies.
