As a Financial Sales Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive program that equips you with the skills and competencies necessary to excel in selling Individual Insurance products and establishing a thriving financial practice.

This program combines self-study, hands-on projects, and experienced mentorship, providing you with the training and support needed to run your own business and build a rewarding career.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Hourly Wage: $16/hour during the trainee period, lasting up to 30 days.
  • Upon successful completion of the trainee period, transition to a Financial Representative role with a $36,000 annual base salary plus unlimited monthly sales incentives.
  • $1,000 bonus after successful completion of the trainee program and promotion.
  • An education-based Accelerator Program to help you transition to an independent Financial Advisor.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) plan with company contributions and a 6% match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Eligibility for 11 paid holidays in 2025, including 2 floating holidays.
  • Sick leave provided through the use of personal time, offering up to 40 hours in 2025 for regular associates.
  • Applicants must not now or at any point in the future require sponsorship for employment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Engage in a comprehensive program to develop skills for providing holistic financial advice.
  • Gain valuable direct sales experience in marketing Individual Insurance products and pass a sales process competency test.
  • Cultivate prospecting skills, including research, targeting, networking, and communication, using personal networks and community events.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our product offerings to demonstrate expertise in features and benefits.
  • Manage documentation and proposals, ensuring smooth application and underwriting processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Commitment to meet all trainee program requirements, developing the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Obtain required insurance licenses prior to starting the position, with up to two attempts allowed for the Life and Health exam.
  • Pass the CRD/FINRA background check upon hire and ongoing, with securities licensing required within 24 months.
  • Be highly self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, maintain a valid U.S. driver's license, and have reliable transportation for meetings.
  • Support a culture of diversity and inclusion, valuing different ideas and perspectives, and remain curious in all endeavors.

PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry, related products, and marketing practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
